EARTHQUAKE

Everyday when I have breakfast/tea in Shatin hospital canteen, we hear news about the Sichuan earthquake on the TV, on newspapers, radio...everywhere. Actually I can't reli bear to watch/hear it more and more everyday, all the little stories of ppl's life, how far they hve walked to find their relatives, how strnog they hve been to wait for the rescurers, how one has to amputate their legs/arms to be kept alive, how fortunate we are living in a place like HK...

Seating in front of the TV, I really wish that I could be well-equipped to participate in this, as a volunteer. At the end of the day, I'm still a nurse, my job is to save lifes, only if I have the quality to do so, I do wanna join the frontline to help. Feel an immense gratitude to all the reporters, the rescurers and all the volunteers who give out their time, money to help with this...真正體驗到上下一心, 血濃於水的情...

As the CCSU EVP, What else should we do as a group? except personally donating money.

多了點動力..覺得要學好我的護理知識..這樣才能幫助到更多人...
沒有知識, 我就沒有能力, 沒有價值....在香港這樣的福地...因為遇不到, 而知識用不著不是福氣...作為救護人員, 搶救生命才是目的...
